Review of Marisol's Collection! EDITED with pics!!

Okay, here goes....


Marisol doll and book

Marisol is gorgeous. I cannot say anything negative about her or any other AG. I think that all of the AGs are well made and perfect in every way, and so is she. When I first opened her up, I didn't think I could bond with her as I could with the others. I felt like she was "too good" for me, but after taking her to the AG club and spending time with her, I definitely have bonded. Her clothes are gorgeous and sooo bohemian, which is what I love. I can't wait to get some Josefina clothes for her. I have named her Marisol Clara Montoya, Josefina's 12-year-old sister, and she looks the part. Plus, Charlie's happy because she's not the only 12-year-old anymore! I haven't read the book, yet, but it looks good. I liked Lindsey's and Kailey's, so I'm sure I'll like hers, too. Grade: A++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++


Cat and Duffel

The cat is so cute. I've named her Milagro, as I cannot see her as a Rascal, and it corresponds with the Josefina stories. She is my first official AG pet, and I'm very pleased. I'm not so pleased with some of the duffel contents, though. The duffel itself is cute, but what of the water bottle and snack bar? I don't understand how they could be proportional to the doll. Shouldn't they be a little bigger? And, why is the snack bar so cheaply made? The cell phone is ADORABLE, though, even though I think it could be a little bigger. The bandages are cute, but I have a feeling that they will be staying in the duffel. The earrings are also cute, but maybe Marisol should have pierced ears like Josefina and Addy? Grade: B-


Performance Trunk

This was the most disappointing thing. I like it, but I think it should be less money than what it is. I like the trunk, and I love the jazz outfit, which'll probably be Clara's temporary pjs, but I really think that to be the price it is, it should have a little more quality stuff to it. Two little paper certificates and a poster with rubberbands and hair things are not going to cut it. I would expect quality things. This trunk set seems too mattel for me. I like it, but it could do better. Grade: C
